WESS rounds one and two, Extreme XL Lagares and Trefle Lozerien AMV join the list of events that have been canceled or postponed – Lagares has been postponed.
Due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, the first two races of the WESS Enduro 2020 World Cup, Extreme XL Lagares in Portugal and Trefle Lozerien AMF in France have been delayed and canceled.
Event organizers WESS Promotion GmbH and Extreme XL Lagares have postponed the race, which is scheduled May 8 to 10 in Porto for 2-4. October.
Paulo Moreira Melicia, director of Extreme XL Lagares says postponing the event was a difficult decision, but the right one: “Public health and safety must always be before enjoying the race. Despite the situation we are all facing, our passion has not diminished and that is why we will put all our energy into organizing a spectacular event in October. “
“The safety of competitors, spectators, staff and those living in and around Porto is a priority, and the current situation due to a virus pandemic in the Portuguese region of Porto is very difficult.”

Unlike Lagares, the race in France by Trefle Lozerien has been canceled.
Emilien Osmont, President of the Moto Club Lozérien says: “This decision was extremely difficult to make, but after numerous discussions with the members of the office of the Moto Club Lozérien, with the organizing committee of the Trèfle Lozérien AMV and with the former club officials, it emerged that it was the wisest solution for the future of the event and the club.”
